Dr. Mohammad Bu-Hulaiqah (b.1955) was born in Damascus, Syria, and is a member in the Shura Council since July 9th, 1997. He holds a doctorate degree in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin, United States, and worked as an assistant professor of Information Technology at College of Industrial Management in King Fahad University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM), Saudi Arabia.
He was the Deputy Director of Information Technology Center at KFUPM, Saudi Arabia, and the manager of Industrial Data Bank in Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting in Doha, Qatar. He, also, worked as the Secretary General of Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting in Doha, Qatar, and a member in many committees and board of directors like the Saudi Communications Commission and Board of Directors of the Saudi Economic Association.
Dr. Bu-Hulaiqah has participated in numerous local and international economic conferences like the International Gulf Conference for Electronic Business in Dubai and the First International Conference over Artificial Intelligence in Industry and Government in India. He has many researches in fields of information technology, business development and economies of Gulf Cooperation Council. Bu-Hulaiqah is a regular commentator on media channels on economic issues.
