Sheikh AbdulRasoul AlBayyabi (b. 1949) was born in Tarout, Saudi Arabia, and he is one of the distinctive Shiite religious men in Qatif region. During the early years of his life, he was taught reading, writing, holy Qur'an by his father and some competent tutors, and, at the age of thirteen he became an eloquent religious public speaker.

In 1965, he moved to Najaf in Iraq to study Islamic sciences. There, he studied Arabic Language, Ethics, Mathematics and Islamic Jurisprudence. In 1973, Sheikh AlBayyabi returned to Tarout due to the huge number of arrests against religion students in Najaf, Iraq. He stayed in Tarout for a few months, then, he moved to Iran in April 1973 to finish his advanced religious studies.

In June 1982, Sheikh AbdulRasoul AlBayyabi returned to Tarout. Since then, he worked on teaching religion, guiding people and religious public speaking, and has many social contributions. Moreover, he headed the Scrutiny Commission of Qatif and AlAhssa Shiite Courts in Qatif.
